A Place to Bury Strangers on the cover of The Deli's NYC / NAMM Issue 2018!

Hello good music diggers!

The Winter 2018 issue of The Deli NYC (our 53rd!) is now available for you to read online, here!

This is also the first NAMM issue of The Deli, since a week from today we'll be at the Californian musical instrument convention with a huge booth full of guitar pedals!

That's why we took the opportunity to put on the cover of our magazine the legendary Brooklyn noise rockers A Place To Bury Strangers - a band that makes their own stompboxes, called Death By Audio.

The issue features a lot of other local artists (and their pedals) and also an article about the best records of 2017 by emerging NYC Artists - check it out!

Here's a playlist of the artists featured in the issue.

The Deli's SXSW Issue 2014 is online!

Read it digitally here.

P.S. 10k free copies of this issue hit the street of Austin during SXSW Music week!

New Americanadian Split EP Available for Streaming & Download

Americanadian recently contributed two songs to a split EP with South Jersey quartet Nowadays. Both tracks share a reflective state of melancholy. With its dual lead vocal harmonies and breezy tempo, “Carpool Tunnel” feels like an interwoven discourse. In contrast, “Ceramic Cat Plate” carries the emotional weight of isolation, aching within the delicate instrumental movement. Americanadian will be performing next in Philly on Saturday, February 24 at The Hairy Hut.

New Track: "Listening In" - Dr. Dog

Critical Equation, the forthcoming album from Dr. Dog, will be released on April 27 via Thirty Tigers. Intertwining an eerie sense of isolation as the steady march of rhythm progresses, “Listening In” carries an unsettling air of mystery. Coupling those haunting vibes with the familiar reinforcement of harmony and jagged instrumental inserts creates a sonic landscape open to discovery. Festival Pier will be playing host to the Philly stalwarts on Saturday, June 23, where they'll be supported by local wunderkind (Sandy) Alex G.

New Track: "Inna Funk" - Trash Knife

Later this year, hardcore quintet Trash Knife will be dropping a split 7” with Dumb Vision, via Wisconsin label Kitschy Manitou Records. Building from a rockin', unified base, “Inna Funk” hits into next gear when the song's defiant vocals kick in. That impending, unfiltered urgency shifts the tone with a swift shot of adrenaline. The switch is flipped, and there’s no looking back.
